Milanówek, Urban municipality in Grodzisk Mazowiecki County, Poland
Milanówek extends across the Middle Masovian Plain, located 29 kilometers southwest of Warsaw with a population of 16,334 residents in the area.
The settlement emerged in the late 19th century when landowner Michał Lasocki divided his property along the Warsaw-Vienna Railway line for development.
The town gained recognition during World War II when St. Hedwig Church safeguarded Frédéric Chopin's heart and housed Polish Underground State operations.
The Milanówek railway station connects residents to Warsaw and other regional destinations through regular train services on the Warsaw-Vienna line.
The Central Experimental Station of Silk Production, established in the 1920s, marked the town as a center for silk manufacturing research.
