Żoliborz

Żoliborz is a northern district in Warsaw that spans a relatively small area while containing significant green spaces. The area is largely residential, with neighborhoods that create a quieter living environment away from the city center.

The name comes from the French phrase Joli Bord, meaning Beautiful Bank, given by Piarist monks who settled here in the 18th century. The area later developed into a residential neighborhood that attracted professionals from various fields.
