Długopole-Zdrój, Spa village in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.
Długopole-Zdrój is a spa village situated in the Nysa valley within Lower Silesia, nestled among rolling hills at around 400 meters elevation. The settlement spreads along the river landscape and is surrounded by forested slopes typical of the Kłodzko region.
The village was founded in the 14th century as a settlement, but gained importance when mineral springs were discovered in the 17th century during mining work. Spa facilities were established in the early 1800s, transforming the place into a health resort.
The village has built its identity around spa treatments focused on liver and digestive health, which visitors can experience in the local facilities. The historic bathhouses remain central to everyday life and reflect how deeply the healing springs have shaped the community.
The village is accessible by train on the line connecting Wrocław to Prague, or by car via roads from neighboring towns to the north and south. The best time to visit is from May through September when weather is pleasant and hiking trails are easily accessible.
The village features a mature spa park from the 1800s with established trees that offer visitors a quiet retreat within the healing landscape. The park connects to the Main Sudety Trail network, allowing guests to alternate between spa treatments and nature exploration.
