Gmina Janów

Gmina Janów is a rural administrative district in southern Poland that stretches across rolling terrain with limestone formations. The area comprises several small villages spread throughout this hilly landscape with distinctive geological features.

The area sits along a significant geological boundary where limestone formations rise into higher cliff faces and create several protected rock formations. This cliff line inspired Poland's famous Eagle Nests, one of Europe's most visited climbing regions.
