Konstanty Zamoyski Palace, Renaissance Revival palace in Śródmieście, Poland
Konstanty Zamoyski Palace is a Renaissance Revival building featuring two perpendicular wings that create an enclosed courtyard with a late-Baroque entrance gate. The structure includes preserved interior spaces with decorative elements throughout its rooms and corridors.
The building was designed by architect Leandro Marconi in 1879 on land that had been planned as a public park. The shift from green space to residential use reflects changes in Warsaw's urban development during the late 1800s.
The palace houses offices of the Association of Polish Architects and hosts cultural organizations that gather in its rooms. These groups use the space as a working hub for creative professionals and cultural activities in the city.
The palace is located on Foksal Street and is easy to find. Several organizations, a restaurant, and a club occupy different sections of the building's preserved interior spaces.
The interior corridors and courtyards display the Zamoyski coat of arms on door handles, shutters, and other decorative elements throughout. These details reveal the artistry that was invested in the building's original design and finishes.
