Gmina Włodowice

Gmina Włodowice is an administrative municipality in Silesian Voivodeship composed of ten villages and settlements. The territory includes communities such as Włodowice, Morsko, and Rzędkowice that together form a rural administrative region.

The region received formal town status in 2023, though it remains predominantly rural in character. Ruins of an 18th-century palace testify to its earlier role as the site of an agricultural school.

The ten settlements maintain their own local traditions and characteristics that shape daily community life. Visitors can observe regional celebrations and customs that define the character of each locality.

The municipal headquarters is located at Krakowska Street 26 in Włodowice and serves as the main point for administrative matters. The area is easily explored on foot since the various villages are within reasonable walking distance.

The Rzędkowickie Rocks within the territory are known to climbers and offer numerous routes of varying difficulty. The rock formation also contains ancient caves that point to prehistoric settlement in the area.
