Sulejów

Sulejów is a city in the Łódź region of central Poland, situated where the Pilica and Radońka rivers flow through the area. It combines historical buildings with a compact town layout and a population of around 6,000 residents.

The Cistercian abbey was founded between 1176 and 1177, marking the start of organized settlement in the area. The town later became the site of an important 1318 gathering of Polish nobles that affected the kingdom's future.
