Góry Bialskie

Góry Bialskie is a mountain range in Lower Silesia stretching from Stronie Śląskie to Bielice. The range divides into two distinct sections separated by Sucha Pass at around 1000 meters elevation.

The range formed during the Alpine orogeny, creating layers of gneiss, granite-gneiss, mica schists, amphibolites, and quartzites. These geological compositions reveal massive tectonic forces that shaped this landscape over millions of years.

The village of Bielice at the range's edge developed a reputation for isolation and lack of mobile connectivity over many years. This remoteness shaped how people viewed and connected with this mountain landscape.

Bring supplies with you since there are no stores in this area. Parking near the hiking trails is limited with only a few spaces, so arriving early in the day works best.

Several peaks rise above 1000 meters here, including Rudawiec, Postawna, and Smrek. These high summits create different elevation zones where varied plant species thrive and distinct ecosystems develop.
