Płońsk County

Płońsk County is an administrative district in the Masovian Voivodeship made up of twelve municipalities spread across roughly 1,400 square kilometers in east-central Poland. The two towns of Płońsk and Raciąż serve as the main urban centers, with smaller villages throughout the surrounding area.

The county took its current form through administrative reforms in 1999 that reorganized local structures following the collapse of Soviet rule. This reshaping was part of Poland's broader transformation during the post-communist period.
