Dąbie spreads across 8.86 square kilometers of land along the Ner River in central Poland, maintaining a population density of 220 inhabitants per square kilometer.
The settlement received its first written mention in 1232 and gained municipal rights in 1423 under the administrative jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Poland.
The central square features the town hall and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, representing architectural elements that reflect the local heritage.
The town connects to major transportation routes through Voivodeship roads 263 and 473, with the A2 motorway running south of the settlement.
Before World War II, Dąbie maintained a population of 1,000 Jewish residents who contributed to the development of trade and local commerce.
