The Sacred Heart church features a ceiling decoration made of thin canvas measuring 35 by 18 meters, displaying the Resurrection and Final Judgment scenes.
Built between 1681 and 1683, this church replaced a Gothic structure destroyed by fire and served Evangelical communities until the end of World War II.
The church interior contains works by Reinhold Schneider from 1688, including images of the 12 Apostles and scenes from the New Testament.
The church hosts the International Organ Festival organized by the Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic in Gdańsk, attracting numerous visitors.
A large ship model created by F.W. Wehlm in 1872 hangs beneath the ceiling, given as a gift from sailors who survived dangerous conditions.
