Reserve nature Kąty Rybackie, Bird sanctuary in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.
The nature reserve spans 102.54 hectares of protected land, providing essential habitats for numerous bird species along the Polish Baltic coast.
Established in 1957 with an initial area of 4.13 hectares, the reserve has expanded significantly to protect growing populations of cormorants and grey herons.
The reserve functions as an educational center where researchers and visitors study the behaviors and nesting patterns of European water birds.
Visitors can access the reserve through marked Nordic walking trails, including the Red Trail and Blue Trail, with multiple observation points throughout the area.
The reserve houses Europe's largest cormorant colony, with a population between 35,000 and 40,000 birds nesting within its boundaries.
