The Mansion of the Society of Saint George is a brick building with characteristic Gothic features including pointed arches and ribbed vaults located in Gdańsk's Main City. The structure stands among other historic buildings and displays typical architectural details of Gdańsk merchant-era design.
The building was constructed in 1612 as a meeting house for a prosperous civic brotherhood. It received protected monument status in 1967 and has been safeguarded under Polish heritage law ever since.
The mansion served as a gathering place for the Society of Saint George, a local brotherhood whose members met here for assemblies and celebrations. You can still see the rooms where these communal gatherings took place.
