Province ecclésiastique de Lublin

The ecclesiastical province comprises the Archdiocese of Lublin and two suffragan dioceses at Sandomierz and Siedlce. These three dioceses function as a unified religious administrative unit serving eastern Polish territories.

The archdiocese of Lublin was established in 1992 as the metropolitan structure organizing Catholic administration in eastern Poland. The two suffragan dioceses were placed under this new metropolitan authority to coordinate pastoral work across the region.

The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist serves as the central religious administration seat for the ecclesiastical province, coordinating Catholic activities across eastern Poland.

The province operates through coordination mechanisms established by the Polish Episcopal Conference connecting its three member dioceses. Visitors typically engage with the individual cathedrals and churches located throughout these diocesan territories.

Within Poland's sixteen Latin ecclesiastical provinces, Lublin's religious jurisdiction extends across substantial territories of the Lubelskie and Podkarpackie administrative regions.
