Muszyna, Spa town in Lesser Poland, Poland
The town lies in the valley of the Poprad River at 450 meters elevation, surrounded by dense forests near the Slovak border.
King Andrew II of Hungary authorized tax collection along the Poprad River in 1209, marking the first documented mention of the settlement.
The town celebrates multiple seasonal festivals, including the Mineral Water Day and Picnic by the Poprad River, highlighting local traditions.
Muszyna offers ten connected ski slopes with Wierchomla Mala during winter and numerous hiking trails through surrounding forests in summer.
