Gmina Adamów

Gmina Adamów is a rural administrative district in eastern Poland comprising approximately 16 villages spread across countryside terrain. The administrative center operates from Adamów village, with the landscape characterized by agricultural land and local settlements.

Adamów was originally granted town status by King Sigismund I in 1539, making it an urban settlement for over three centuries. The location lost its city charter in 1870 and gradually transformed into the rural municipality it is today.

The district comprises several traditional Polish villages, each maintaining its own local character and rural way of life. Daily rhythms here follow agricultural patterns and seasonal changes that have shaped the communities for generations.

The administrative center is located in Adamów village, situated southwest of the Łuków County seat. The area is best explored by personal vehicle, as public transportation options are limited in this rural setting.
