Stadion Widzewa

Stadion Widzewa is a modern football venue in the Stary Widzew district of Łódź featuring red-brick walls and transparent illuminated panels across its structure. Four covered stands provide seating for about 18,000 people, with roughly 900 seats reserved for visiting supporters.

A stadium occupied this location since 1930, but eventually needed replacement as the facility became outdated. The current structure arrived as a complete rebuild, giving the club a contemporary home.

The venue serves as the home of Widzew Łódź football club and draws passionate supporters from across the region who gather here for matches. Generations of fans have built strong traditions that shape the atmosphere on match days.

Sports facilities, media areas, and offices occupy the western stand across multiple levels with direct access to player areas. Visitors should arrive with time to spare to navigate the venue comfortably.

The north stand includes a specialized stage design that permits concerts to be held without harming the playing surface below. This transforms the space into a venue serving purposes beyond football matches.
