Cisy Raciborskiego, Natural monument in Harbutowice, Poland.

Two ancient yew trees grow on the northwestern slope of Babica Mountain, with the female tree reaching 15 meters in height and 3 meters in circumference.

The Raciborski Yews, discovered by Professor Marian Raciborski, have been legally protected since 1934 and registered with UNESCO as natural monuments.

These yew trees, estimated to be between 1200 and 2000 years old for the female specimen, represent an essential part of Polish natural heritage.

Visitors can access the site through marked paths in Harbutowice village, where information signs provide details about these protected trees.

The male and female yew pair stands as one of the oldest living organisms in Poland, with dense, cherry-brown heartwood resistant to decay.
