Gmina Cyców

Gmina Cyców is a rural municipality in Lublin Voivodeship made up of several villages scattered across agricultural land in eastern Poland. The administrative hub is located in the village of Cyców, which handles local services for all surrounding communities.

The district formed as part of the administrative reorganization in the Lublin region during the 20th century. Cyców served as a local administrative center for the surrounding agricultural villages from an early stage.

The district maintains strong agricultural traditions, with local communities spread across various settlements including Adamów, Barki, and Bekiesza.

The municipality is easily accessible from the county town of Łęczna and from central Lublin, offering visitors a chance to see everyday rural life in eastern Poland. Spring and autumn are the best times to visit when the landscape is green and less crowded.

The district recorded a population increase from 7,516 to 7,931 between 2006 and 2015, demonstrating steady growth in this rural region.
