The stadium's construction began in 1935 through a social committee initiative, becoming a central sports facility for the eastern Poland region after World War II.
The sports complex serves as a gathering point for local athletics competitions, football matches, and community events throughout the calendar year.
Located near the Old Town and City Park, the stadium provides seating for 7,600 spectators and includes electronic scoreboards, sound systems, and video monitoring.
The stadium hosted the 1989 Polish Super Cup match between Legia Warszawa and Ruch Chorzów, drawing an attendance of 11,000 spectators.
