The Museum of Middle Pomerania occupies multiple buildings along the Słupia River, including a 16th-century castle and several historical granaries and gates.
Established in 1924, the museum preserved over 600 artifacts from the German Heimatmuseum collection after World War II through dedicated Polish museum staff efforts.
The museum maintains collections of historical crafts, ethnographic objects, antique books, and materials related to the Gryfitas dynasty who resided in the castle.
Located at Dominikanska Street 5-9 in central Słupsk, the museum welcomes visitors Wednesday through Sunday between 10:00 and 16:00 throughout the year.
The institution holds the largest global collection of works by Polish artist Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, known professionally as Witkacy.
