Łysa Polana

Łysa Polana is a mountain glade spanning the border between Poland and Slovakia with views of surrounding peaks and marked paths through alpine meadows. The open landscape stretches across several hundred meters and is framed by forested slopes.

The glade originated as a traditional grazing area and developed into an important crossing point between Poland and Slovakia during the 20th century. This transformation reflects the region's changing borders and connections.

On clear days, visitors can directly observe the different building styles on both sides of the border, making regional differences obvious. These visible distinctions in houses and structures tell the story of the two countries' separate histories.
