The Armament Museum displays an extensive collection of military equipment, including tanks, aircraft, helicopters, and artillery pieces used by Polish forces.
The museum opened on May 9, 1965, within the remains of Fort Winiary, which was partially destroyed during the 1945 Battle of Poznań.
The museum organizes yearly historical reenactments of the Battle of Poznań 1945, featuring operational military vehicles and equipment from various collections.
During special occasions like Children's Day and Polish Army Day, visitors can access the interiors of exhibits including the T-34/85 tank.
The museum houses the only preserved wartime configuration BM-13-16 Katyusha rocket launcher mounted on a 1944 Studebaker US-6 truck in Poland.
