Jeruzal is a village in Masovian Voivodeship, Poland, located roughly 12 kilometers south of Mrozy and 61 kilometers east of Warsaw. The settlement sits among working farmland and connects to surrounding communities through local roads in Mińsk County.
First recorded under the name Żeliszew in 1426, the settlement received town rights in 1533 from the Oborski family. Around 1820 it lost its civic status and evolved into a rural village.
The wooden church of St. Adalbert from 1757 and 1758 displays baroque interior elements and medieval statues of the Virgin Mary and St. John inside. Visitors can trace the connection between the original sacred architecture of the settlement and later artistic additions.
The village houses 338 residents and connects to nearby communities through a network of local roads. Travelers reach the settlement most easily by car or organized transport from the Mińsk County area.
Television producers chose the village as the main filming location for the Polish comedy series Ranczo, bringing nationwide recognition to the small community. The series ran for several years and brought numerous visitors to the area.
