Stobrawa Landscape Park is a protected area in the Opole region of south-western Poland, made up of forests, river valleys, wetlands, and open fields. It contains four nature reserves and several smaller protected sites that shelter rare plants and animals.
Stobrawa Landscape Park was established in 1999, making it the newest landscape park in the Opole region. Before that, the land was mostly used for farming and small-scale industry.
The park sits in a rural area where local communities have long lived close to the land, and this connection is still visible in the small villages scattered around it. Visitors walking near the river valleys can see how farming and fishing have shaped the landscape over generations.
The park has several marked trails for walking and cycling, ranging from short loops to routes of a few hours. Comfortable shoes and water are recommended, as some sections pass through wet or sandy ground.
The park is part of the Natura 2000 network, which links the most important natural areas across Europe. This means the plants and animals here are protected not just locally, but as part of a continent-wide effort.
