Bierbrauerei Richard Fischer, Historical brewery in Nowy Port, Gdańsk, Poland.
The brewery facility at Starowiślnej Street 2 features multiple buildings dedicated to beer production and distribution near the waterfront location.
Established in 1708 by Mathias Broschke, the brewery passed to the Fischer family by 1804 and operated continuously until its destruction in 1945.
The Fischer family contributed to local infrastructure by paving streets and providing spring water access to residents of Nowy Port district.
The facility reached production levels of 50,000 hectoliters annually and employed over 60 workers during the interwar period.
Before 1914, the brewery exported fifty percent of its specialty spruce black beer production to England and distributed to Scandinavian countries.
