Saint Michael Archangel church in Świątkowa Wielka

The Saint Michael Archangel church features traditional Eastern Orthodox architecture with wooden walls, sloped roofs, and a prominent tower reaching toward the sky.

Originally built in 1757, the church underwent renovations in 1796 and subsequent modifications between 1826 and 1828, including the addition of its tower.

The interior walls display late 18th-century paintings that represent the artistic traditions and religious practices of the western Lemko region.

Registered as monument A-67, the church remains open to visitors who can explore both its architectural features and religious significance in the Low Beskid area.

The church transitioned from Greek Catholic to Roman Catholic usage in 1986 after standing unused for nearly 40 years from 1947.
