The building began as a city tower in the 15th century and was transformed into a residence for clergy members in the 16th century.
The structure holds registration number A/273 in the Polish cultural heritage register, marking its significance in preserving regional architectural identity.
The bronze scale model of the former Lublin parish church stands in front of the building, next to restored foundations of St. Michael's Church.
In the 1950s, the building received a cast of its original tympanum after the original was moved to the Trinitarian Tower due to structural concerns.
