Zabrze Philharmonic

Zabrze Philharmonic is a concert hall where a professional orchestra of about 60 musicians performs classical works, contemporary pieces, and film scores. The venue offers different types of concerts throughout the year, ranging from traditional symphonies to special programs for children and families.

Founded in 1950 in Upper Silesia, this concert hall became an important institution for orchestral performances in the region. Since 1990, the artistic direction has been shaped by conductor Slawomir Chrzanowski.

The orchestra draws from Silesian musical traditions and maintains deep roots in compositions from the 19th century. You can feel how local musical heritage remains at the heart of what happens on stage.

The philharmonic presents about 20 different concert programs each year, so there are regular new performances to experience. Check what is scheduled when you visit, as some shows are designed for children while others offer traditional classical programs.
