The Buczyna nad Słupią reserve encompasses 18.82 hectares of forest land along the Słupia River, featuring century-old beech trees and diverse plant species.
The Polish Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources established this protected area through an official decree on December 29, 1987.
This forest reserve functions as an educational center where researchers conduct studies on ecological systems and document the local wildlife patterns.
Visitors can access the reserve throughout the year via marked walking paths, with the spring months offering the best conditions for wildlife observation.
The reserve contains specific varieties of birch trees and pedunculate oaks that grow alongside the primary beech forest ecosystem.
