Nature reserve Wydymacz

Nature Reserve Wydymacz is located near Antonin and consists of a pond, forested areas, and wetlands with diverse plant communities. The protected site connects different habitats and provides a home for numerous animal species.

The area received protected status in the 1980s to preserve natural habitats and the species living there. This decision ensured the landscape could be maintained for future generations.

Prince Antoni Radziwill introduced numerous non-native plant species to the area, which now form part of the reserve's botanical collection.

The site is best explored on foot or by bicycle, as trails and cycling routes are available. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for wet conditions, especially in areas with ponds and wetlands.
