Nature reserve Kajasówka

The reserve extends over 12 hectares of land, featuring limestone formations with a horst hill that stretches 2.5 kilometers in length and 300 meters in width.

The Nature Reserve Kajasówka, established in 1962, became part of the Rudniański Landscape Park to protect its geological structures and plant species.

The educational path, marked in 1986, guides visitors through geological and geomorphological features while explaining the natural processes that shaped the area.

Two marked trails lead through the reserve: a red path spanning 5.1 kilometers and a blue path directing visitors to the Przegińska Cave with its 10-meter corridor.

The reserve contains karst formations creating underground channels, with thermophilic grasslands supporting rare plant species like spotted vetch and white helleborine.
