Rogóźno, Fishing lake in Lublin Province, Poland.
Lake Rogóźno is a body of water in the Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lakeland with steep shorelines and considerable depth. It covers about 57 hectares and reaches approximately 24 meters at its deepest point.
This lake formed during the ice age as glacial movements shaped the landscape. The glacial activity created its distinctive funnel-like form and established it as a natural water body in eastern Poland.
The fishing center on the northern shore serves as a gathering place where anglers meet year-round to pursue their hobby together. People come here to share knowledge about fishing techniques and local conditions.
Visitors can obtain fishing permits at the fishing center's reception and rent boats for fishing activities. The best time to fish is between sunrise and sunset.
The lake is home to whitefish populations that attract attention during winter months, and large pike weighing over 20 kilograms have been caught here. These sizable catches make it noteworthy for experienced anglers.
