Sine Skałki, Hill and scenic viewpoint in gmina Mirsk, Poland

Blaue Steine is a hill and scenic viewpoint in the gmina of Mirsk, in southern Poland. The top has no buildings, only open terrain with natural rock formations, and it sits along a marked trail that links several other viewpoints in the surrounding hills.

The hill and its rocks have been part of the local landscape for centuries, and the area takes its German name from the communities that once lived in this part of Silesia. Local accounts suggest the site was long regarded as a gathering point for people in the surrounding villages.

The name Blaue Steine, which means 'Blue Stones' in German, comes from the color these rocks seem to take on in certain light. Photographers and nature lovers often visit specifically to catch the shifting shades of the stones at different times of day.

The hill is easy to reach via marked trails and can be combined with nearby spots such as Wysoki Kamien or Kopaniec for a longer walk. Sturdy shoes and enough water are all you need for a comfortable outing here.

Although the hill does not reach a great height, the open and treeless terrain at the top gives it the feel of a true mountain summit. This makes it a favorite stop for walkers who want wide views without a demanding climb.
