Sasin

Sasin is a mountain summit in the Central Sudetes region, reaching approximately 950 meters in elevation. Steep slopes covered with dense coniferous forests characterize the terrain surrounding it.

During the medieval period, this summit served as a boundary marker between local settlements when the region was part of the Kingdom of Bohemia. Its position made it an important reference point for the people of that era.

The peak serves as a gathering place for climbers who follow established routes and share their experiences on the mountain. The trails leading here are deeply rooted in local mountain culture and draw visitors each year seeking to explore this Sudetes landscape.

Marked trails lead from the nearby village of Zieleniec to the summit, with the ascent taking around two hours in normal conditions. Visitors should prepare with weatherproof gear and sturdy footwear before attempting the hike.

From this summit, visitors can see across both sides of the Polish-Czech border and observe two countries in a single view. This geographical position makes it a special place for comparing the different landscapes on either side.
