Willa Brunona Hermanna w Poznaniu, Cultural heritage villa in Poznań, Poland
The three-story brick villa on 28 June 1956 Street features white cornices, pilasters, window frames, and a tower with an ornamental dome.
Industrial entrepreneur Bruno Hermann built this thousand-square-meter residence in 1895, and furniture manufacturer Bruno Toussaint acquired it in 1908.
The villa follows French 17th-century architectural principles, with a balcony portico supported by two columns and detailed exterior ornamentation.
The Adam Mickiewicz University purchased the property in 1996, and renovation works are ongoing to preserve the structure's original features.
Between World Wars, the villa transformed into a furniture factory under W. Nowakowski and Sons, later becoming kindergarten number 88 after World War II.
