Former observation tower on St. Anna’s Mountain in Nowa Ruda

The former observation tower on St. Anna's Mountain is a stone structure positioned at roughly 650 meters elevation, commanding views across the surrounding Lower Silesian landscape. The building remains a recognizable landmark for hikers exploring the mountainous terrain around Nowa Ruda.

The structure was erected between 1906 and 1907 as part of early-20th-century mountain development in the region. It was later designated as a protected monument, reflecting its importance to the area's architectural heritage.

The structure received recognition as an immovable monument in January 2010, securing its place in Poland's architectural heritage registry under number A/1551.

The tower is accessible via hiking trails from Nowa Ruda, though reaching it requires moderate physical effort due to elevation gain. Visitors should exercise caution during wet weather, as mountain paths can become slippery.

Renovation works in 2014 preserved the original structure while adapting it to meet current safety requirements for mountain observation points.
