Włodzicka Góra

Königswalder Spitzberg is a summit in the Włodzickie Hills of Lower Silesia that reaches 757 meters in elevation. Its distinctive cone shape and steep slopes make it stand out as a notable landform in this mountain region.

An observation tower was built in 1927 from melaphyre blocks extracted from local quarries on the site. The structure was renamed later and reconstructed in recent times to provide visitors with views of the surrounding landscape.

The mountain has long served as a gathering place for outdoor enthusiasts seeking nature and fresh mountain air. It reflects values of accessibility and conservation that locals have cherished for generations.

The climb to the viewing tower is manageable and requires ascending a modest set of steps to reach the platform. Visitors should wear good footwear and allow time to enjoy the views from the elevated vantage point.

Beneath the green hiking trail are abandoned quarries where melaphyre was once extracted, with old loading facilities still visible today. These remnants reveal the industrial past of the mountain and how people worked here long ago.
