Jezioro Rejowickie

Jezioro Rejowickie is a reservoir in West Pomeranian Voivodeship that spreads between rolling hills along the Rega River. The water body features varied shorelines and landscapes extending over several kilometers.

The lake was created in 1926 when a dam was built across the Rega River to transform the landscape. This project enabled both electricity generation and water management for the growing region.

The lake takes its name from the nearby village of Rejowice and serves as a gathering place for people from surrounding communities. Visitors can experience local traditions of fishing and outdoor recreation along its shores.

The lake is accessible from several points along its shore and offers different ways to explore its waters and banks. The best time to visit is during warmer months when outdoor recreation is most comfortable.

The lake holds significant water reserves that serve as a major storage system for the region. The river's flow was harnessed to generate electricity, which continues to be produced by the hydroelectric plant at the dam today.
