Siemianówka Reservoir, Artificial reservoir in Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland.
Siemianówka Reservoir sits in the upper Narew valley and covers roughly 33 square kilometers with an average water depth of about three and a half meters. The width of the water body varies from less than one kilometer to over four kilometers depending on the section.
The dam was built between 1977 and 1990 through the construction of an earth barrier near the villages of Łuka and Rybaki. The project transformed part of the Narew valley into a large water surface.
The reservoir supports local fishing activities, yielding between 15 to 30 tons of fish annually, while maintaining ecological balance and providing resources for surrounding communities.
Access to the water body is through Siemianówka village, which serves as a starting point for exploration. The eastern area is well suited for observing birds and wildlife throughout all seasons.
A railway embankment crosses the water and carries two tracks with different gauges. This makes the reservoir one of the few water bodies in Poland where both standard and broad gauge trains pass over.
