Church of Divine Wisdom in Białystok

The Church of Divine Wisdom is a large Orthodox building constructed from brick with tall interior ceilings decorated with colorful frescoes and ornamental details. The interior features a striking floor design made from multicolored granite and displays artwork following Byzantine artistic traditions throughout.

The foundation stone was laid in 1987, marking the beginning of a new religious structure in the city. The project grew from the Orthodox community's need for a proper place of worship in Białystok.

The church serves as a spiritual center for the Orthodox community and shapes the religious identity of the neighborhood with its Byzantine appearance. Visitors can experience traditional music and singing here that reflect the faith and heritage of the local people.

The building is spacious and can accommodate many visitors, so there is plenty of room to explore the interior. Services are held regularly, so it helps to check in advance when the best time is to visit without interruption.

Artists from Greece created the interior wall paintings following Byzantine art traditions and gave the space a special artistic quality. This collaboration with foreign artists made the construction an international artistic project with distinct character.
