Izerskie Garby

Weiße Flins is a mountain summit in the Izera Mountains, rising to 1084 meters with a distinctive dome shape. The northern slopes descend steeply toward the surrounding landscape, creating varied terrain and geological features.

Mining activities began in the 13th century, leading to the establishment of the Stanisław quarry at significant elevation. This early extraction shaped the landscape and made the location an important source of raw materials.

Local folklore tells of a golden statue of Flins deity, worshipped by the Biezunczanie tribe, hidden in a cave on the northern slope.

Several hiking trails pass near the summit, offering various routes to explore the area. Red and green marked paths connect key points and provide options suited to different fitness levels.

The mountain contains deposits of white and pink quartz veins within granite and granite-gneiss rock formations. These mineral deposits made the location valuable for extraction activities over centuries.
