Jabłoniec

Jabłoniec is a summit in the Beskid Wyspowy mountain range standing at about 624 meters, where open fields replace the typical forest coverage. From here, visitors can see across the surrounding valleys and toward the Łososińskie Mountains.

A major battle took place on this summit in December 1914 between Austro-Hungarian and Russian forces, resulting in a strategic victory that halted the Russian advance westward.
