Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the Saint Michael in Wieleń

The brick church features a semicircular presbytery, several annexes, and a chapel dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus with external plaster finishing.

The construction of this religious building began in 1615 and concluded in 1630, with its consecration taking place in 1632 under the patronage of Zofia Czarnkowska.

The main altar, created by craftsmen from Pelplin, displays the painting of the Assumption of Mary along with sculptures of Saints Stanislaus, Adalbert, Hedwig, and Elizabeth.

The church maintains regular mass schedules and serves as the primary religious center for the Roman Catholic community in the Wieleń deanery.

The patron's lodge balcony in the presbytery exhibits rich decorations from the first quarter of the 18th century, including three cabinets adorned with coat of arms.
