Church of the Annunciation in Inowrocław

The Church of the Annunciation is a Romanesque Revival building positioned on Biała Góra hill in Inowrocław. Its structure features thick defensive walls with integrated shooting holes, and the entire construction rests upon five symmetrical foundation frameworks.

Construction of this church began in the late 12th century under the patronage of Duke Leszek, who financed the project using revenues from local salt mining operations. This marks a significant moment in the development of the settlement and the region's growing prosperity.
