Church of St. Adalbert in Biała Rawska

The Church of St. Adalbert is a structure with a single nave, featuring a baroque pulpit shaped like a sailing vessel and a 17th-century baptismal font. The interior displays different artistic techniques on the walls and also houses a large organ from the 19th century.

The construction of this church began in the early 16th century under Bishop Mikołaj Kościelecki and was completed in 1518 under Bishop Jakub Buczacki of Płock. This completion marked an important phase in the region's religious infrastructure.

The venerated image of Our Lady of Mercy inside draws visitors from the region, a work that appeared during the 1600s and early 1700s. Local people have long viewed this painting as a source of spiritual connection and protection for the community.

The wall paintings inside use both al fresco and al secco techniques, showing rare craftsmanship approaches from different periods. This combination of different painting methods makes the decoration of the church particularly noteworthy.
