The church features a three-nave basilica structure built with red brick, measuring 58 meters in length and 34 meters in width.
The church, consecrated in 1911, endured significant damage during World War II when German forces converted it into an archive storage facility.
The interior contains Art Nouveau polychromes, pneumatic organs, and stained glass windows created by craftsman C. L. Türke.
Regular services occur at 7:30, 9:00, 10:15, 11:30, 13:00, 18:00, and 19:30 on Sundays, with separate schedules for weekdays and holidays.
The church displays the largest rose window in Poznań, featuring a stained glass representation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
