Mary Magdalene church in Radomsko

Mary Magdalene Church is a wooden place of worship in Radomsko that combines different building materials. The main body features larch wood walls, while the chancel and sacristy use brick construction instead.

The building first served as a cemetery chapel before 1613. In 1784, Priest I. Kozierowski oversaw the construction of a new wooden nave.

The interior features late Baroque altars decorated with gold leaf and detailed paintwork that catches the light. An organ case from the 19th century blends eklektical elements into the overall design.

The church is located at Krakowska 41 in the Lodz Voivodeship and remains active for religious functions. It is best to check visiting hours in advance to ensure you can enter the building.

During the Napoleonic Wars, the building was repurposed as a tailor's storage and a stable. After those turbulent years, it resumed its role as a place of worship.
