Transmitter Rusinowo, Radio transmitter in Rusinowo, Poland
Transmitter Rusinowo is a broadcasting facility featuring a 320-meter-tall steel mast that ranks as the tallest structure in West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The installation transmits radio and television signals across multiple channels using modern transmission technology.
The facility was established in the 1960s with two transmission masts, but the second 270-meter structure was later dismantled due to structural safety concerns. This change shaped the current appearance of the site.
The transmission facility broadcasts several radio stations including Polskie Radio Program Koszalin, RMF FM, and Radio ZET, which serve the daily media needs of the local population. These stations are woven into the everyday life of residents across the region.
The site is a working broadcasting facility located in open countryside and is not freely accessible to the public. Visitors can view the structure from a distance, but should be aware of safety restrictions around the active transmission area.
Concrete blocks and rusted anchors from the former second mast remain visible scattered across the grass of the site. These physical remnants tell the story of the location's earlier dual-mast configuration.
