Mieszkanie-Pracownia Kazimiery Iłłakowiczówny, Literary museum at Gajowa Street, Poznań, Poland
The museum contains the original living quarters of poet Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna, including furniture, books, paintings, and personal belongings from her lifetime.
The museum opened on February 16, 1984, preserving the apartment where Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna resided from 1948 until her death in 1983.
The exhibition displays the first edition of Ikarowe Loty from 1911, manuscripts, letters, and photographs documenting the poet's literary and diplomatic career.
The museum welcomes individual visitors every second and last Wednesday at 12:30 PM, while group visits require advance reservations from Tuesday to Friday.
In 1981, Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna received her honorary doctorate from Adam Mickiewicz University during an exceptional ceremony held in this apartment.
